HOW TO ENTER • DUE FRI, NOVEMBER 6 @ 10AM

Send Us Your Masterpiece

Parents or guardians, email a clear, well-lit photo or scan of the artwork, taken straight on, to rob@runwithfriends.org.

Include the artist’s first name, age, and school; a parent/guardian name and phone number; and this line: “I confirm this artwork was created entirely by my child, without AI.”

One entry per child. Late entries can’t be accepted.

THIS YEAR'S THEME

Run, Gobble, Give Thanks!

Need ideas? Try a turkey (or a whole family of turkeys) running a race, Friendswood oak trees and fall leaves, runners dressed as pies and pumpkins, or the things you’re thankful for. Or come up with your own!

Tips for a great shirt: draw big and bold, use 4 colors or fewer with solid colors and strong outlines, and skip the words, since we’ll add the race name and logos.

Bonus points for a little Friendswood spirit!

THE FINE PRINT

Contest Rules

Open to all kids ages [4–17]. Art can be hand-drawn or made with regular digital drawing tools, in any medium. Use no more than 4 colors; we may simplify colors slightly for printing. No AI tools of any kind, at any stage. Finalists may be asked to show their original artwork or sketches.

Entries are judged on creativity and on how well the design will work as a printed shirt. By entering, the parent/guardian gives Run With Friends permission to use the artwork on race shirts and in race promotion, with credit to the artist. Prize money is paid to the winner’s parent or guardian.

Winner and honorable mentions announced Saturday, November 7 here and on Facebook and Instagram.
